Light Graffiti

So I have been experimenting with Slow shutter speeds and painting with light. This is one of the shots I got with my brother Jordan and my two sisters, Cassie and Shaunda.

Photography Class

So I took a Digital Photography Class this semester and had a lot of fun doing it. We spent time on Photo Composition and Photo Editing in Photoshop. My professor was really excited about my work and has asked me to enter some of my pieces in some local Art shows. I am posting my new portfolio which are made up from the assignments I turned in for the class. I hope you like my new work.

This is the second piece I did for my photography class, we were working on using filters to create a unique photo effect. I am especially proud of how this one turned out.
This is my sequence composite, I wanted to add something extra so I added the polaroid effect to it. I am super happy with the overall effect of my Gabriel Composite.
This assignment was to make an original composite photo from my own original photos. I found this tree in a local park and I added a face by using a statue and then added the moss to the beard creating this old man in the tree.
This assignment was to capture the reflection, so I shot this waterfall on a slow shutter speed to get the movement of the water.
This assignment was a selective color photo. I took this photo at the Norht wales Community Days and then created this HDR effect to bump up the color. I am really happy with the end result.
In this assignment I needed to take an extreme angle photo, so I shot this leaning up against this tree in a local park.
I shot this at the Valley Forge Freedom Foundations park, after I made it black and white and played with the tones I got this ominous sky. I really like the effect.
This was my Panoramic photo, I took 12 shots of this waterfall and used photoshop to connect them into one photo.
This was a shot I got on Campus of the Clock Tower with the moon in the back ground.

At the entrance to the complex where we live there is a row of trees with flood lights shining up into them. It is really nice at night. Kari had asked the complex management staff if they would like some more updated photos of the buildings and they mentioned that they were very interested in this picture but had been unable to do it. So I grabbed the tripod, my camera, and my determination and this is what I got. The one thing that I learned was that I need a sturdier Tripod and maybe a remote control for the camera. Night shots are difficult but rewarding.
